ALS over the years have maintained several contracts with international and local governmental and non-governmental organization including the Red Cross, and the United Nations.
ALS has also been involved with major cargo and courier companies in operating daily flights through out East Africa.
ALS is currently operating a Buffalo DHC5-A with a cargo capacity of 4.5 tonnes based in Lokichoggio and flying for ICRC and other NGO's on a charter basis to Southern Sudan.
This aircraft is a unique aircraft with the capability of landing into relatively short air fields. It is also one of the few aircrafts that can be loaded with two Toyota Land Cruiser Vehicles at the same time.
Presently it's in great demand for the supply of relief cargo into Southern Sudan. |
