The Company
In 1985, Aslam Khan, previously a Kenya Airways, Airbus 310 Captain and Ashraf Khan, an Aircraft Engineer at Wilson Airport, Nairobi, purchased a Cessna 150 which they leased out to a local Flying School. Gradually and steadily the project successfully developed from an Aircraft Leasing Company into an organisation specialised in providing value added aircraft leasing services.
In October 1999, Aircraft Leasing Services together with other smaller affiliated companies joined hands and formed ALS Limited. This new company now prides itself with a fleet of 28 fixed wing aircraft and two helicopters.
Over the years, ALS has progressively acquired a series of new aircraft: 1992: Cessna Caravans 1993: King Air 200 1998: Beech 1900 2002: AS 350 Eurocopter 2004: Dash 8s 2008: Embraer 135 Jets
ALS is the single major shareholder of Safarilink Aviation, Kenya’s leading tourist airline. Safarilink flies to all major tourist destinations within the region. For more information about Safarilink please visit their website: http://www.flysafarilink.com/
